Project Twelve designs a set of red packets according to the zodiac of the year, merging modern creativity with traditions. Red packets are not mere containers of a customary practice but are in themselves an important element in Chinese culture and festive traditions. ‘Ru Tu Red Packets’ are inspired by the Chinese folk craft of paper-cutting capturing the sprouting and blooming of spring and the liveliness of rabbits.
